Real name: Gali Calls herself: King Calamanazaharitzlé (Cal-a-man-a-zah-har-itz-tlay) Appearance: Mermaid based on a lionfish - Has lionfish patterning all over her body and membrane-webbed spines protruding from her hips, shoulders, and down her spine. Hair: Grey/white Eyes: Orange slitted pupils Age: 19 (If she were human.)
History:
Gali is a character that Bastet and I created when we were paired up for the Private Exchange collab character project. The point of the project was to collaborate with someone to create a character together- appearance, history, etc. After a couple of "WTF?!" ideas being tossed around, Gali is what resulted. XD She's a blast, really, and Bastet was awesome to work with. :3 The only drawback to Gali is that she's freakin' impossible to color. XD;
Her story:
Gali was born in the merpeople's equivalent of lower middle class, nothing particularly special about her. That is until shortly after her 19th birthday when she was hit in the head by a boat anchor that knocked her unconscious. When she came to she was convinced that she was royalty and started calling herself King Calamanazaharitzlé. That wasn't all her mind made up, she has two other personalities living in her head named Mitzi and George. She is now quite schizophrenic and certifiably insane.
All three agreed that the people aboard the boat that hit her should suffer for attempting to assassinate someone as important as she was. Gali found and capsized the small tourist vessel and fed the tourists one by one to the sharks. The only problem with this is that there are merpeople laws against that sort of thing. When Gali was taken to the king for punishment, she had no idea why her "daddy" was acting so strangely. Mitzi and George told her they were all against her, which would explain why they were acting like they never knew her! Gali--er, King Calamanazaharitzlé- made her escape, but not without stealing the (real) King's crown. Naturally this caused a bit of embarrassment for the royal court so they just made a new crown out of six-pack rings and tinfoil and tried to forget all about King Calamanazaharitzlé , Mitzi and George. Now the self-styled King lives in the underwater plains of nowhere and "rules" over the schools of fish that happen to pass by. She has a giant scythe for a weapon and is not afraid to use it if her "subjects" do not obey. What does that mean? Yep. Fish fillet for dinner.
Personality:
Which one? You choose... Gali: Long gone. But she was boring anyway. King Calamanazaharitzlé: Arrogant, pompous -- your basic ruler. Hates Mitzi and often will try and knock her out of their communal skull, resulting in mild concussions and/or blackouts. Mitzi: ...Not exactly gifted in the brain department, if you get my drift. But very, very vindictive, spiteful, and vicious in that special way that only truly stupid people are capable of. George: Very, very ditzy. He does what Mitzi tells him to, and secretly wishes he could wear nail polish.
