Personality:
Master Dryden is kind, gentle, and grandfatherly, but he can be a stern master if he feels that you aren't learning your lessons properly. Through virtue of his long life and many good deeds, he has earned the grudging respect (if not trust) of most of the rulers of the Realms. He is famous for being "the only 'good' mancer," despite the fact that he is no better or worse than any other man.
History:
Master Dryden is a born Aeromancer, the only known living (human) survivor of the Mancer Wars. Which makes him really, REALLY old, something that nobody really seems to catch on to. Much of his history is unknown (and I ain't gonna tell! n_n) and he is not forthcoming about details of his personal life or what he did before he came to Castle Coranth years ago. He is one of the most respected Masters of the Realms and is immensely powerful, but he does not use his power unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. Which means that he hasn't used any real magic for years. O_o
Notes on design:
Master Dryden's Mark is his eyes- they have no irises or pupils; rather, they hold a swirling yellow-clear vortex that churns eerily like oil on water. However, he is not blind, nor has his sight declined with age.
